AXIS Architecture completes the project for KNAUF's new headquarters

Axis Architecture has completed work on the design and construction of KNAUF’s new Spanish headquarters, located at Avda. de Burgos 114 in Madrid. The new site extends to 1,300 m² distributed on a single floor.

Knauf is the world’s largest manufacturer of plasterboard, with 60 factories worldwide and a production capacity of over a billion m².

The office design reflects the company's construction expertise while highlighting its premium brand image and focus on user ergonomics.

Knauf’s own flagship materials have been used in both expected and unexpected ways, featuring the odd reinterpretation developed in collaboration with the company’s technical team. Of particular interest are the use of metal sections to form a decorative lattice, repeated throughout the project, and sound baffles created with the “Organic” panel.

The result is a custom-designed workspace that is elegant, functional and welcoming.
