AXIS Arquitectura was awarded a turnkey project for the refurbishment of the ONIC+ and ONIC 2 buildings located in the Cristalia Business Park in Vía de los Poblados 3, Madrid,

The recently completed works consisted of the aesthetic and functional updating of the common areas of the building. This has been achieved by replacing the finishes on the vertical walls of the floor halls, applying a texture and tone aimed at enhancing the brightness of the spaces. The lighting fixtures have also been replaced with LEDs, and the elevators and toilets have been improved by eliminating outdated elements. The access doors to the offices have been modified, highlighting the inclusion of an ornamental metallic mouthpiece.

On the first floor, the reception desk has been moved to another location and new furniture has been added, which has optimized circulation in the building, providing another entrance and exit area.

As part of the remodeling work, the 6th floor of the ONIC+ building has also been upgraded, with a new false ceiling and lighting fixtures, as well as a vinyl finish on the raised floor, which makes it possible to see how the offices are delivered.

Finally, and as a complementary action, a new amenities area has been implemented on the 1st floor of the ONIC+ building. This is a space for the exclusive use of tenants, combining multipurpose meeting rooms and informal meeting areas, as well as a rest area with a large coffee corner. The design has focused on turning the space into a functional, modern and aesthetic place, combining different materials and textures that generate a professional, but also casual atmosphere. The excellent natural light offered by the building, together with the spacious rooms designed, enhance the coziness of the space.
