PROJECT DETAILS

Axis Arquitectura has renovated and transformed a space located on the lower ground floor of the Porta de Cornellá building—previously used for private rentals—into a multifunctional common area for the use of all the building’s tenants.

The project was conceived with the goal of creating a daily gathering place for all building users, fostering a sense of community and offering new possibilities for use, such as hosting corporate events. To this end, a flexible and versatile space was designed that can adapt to different activities throughout the day.

The space has been transformed and equipped with modular, easily reconfigurable furniture, allowing it to be used both as a cafeteria and break area for employees, as well as for presentations, informal meetings, or networking events. This flexibility makes the space a dynamic extension of each tenant’s private offices, adapting to the changing needs of users.

The project was completed with a renovation of the interior finishes, incorporating specific solutions to improve acoustic comfort and maximize natural light through a double-height window.

The project has also focused on creating a preparation and self-service area, equipped with appliances and sinks that provide enough convenience for tenants to save space in their own offices and separate their work area from their break area.
